The Country Inn is located on the village square in the heart of this tourist village. - The Country Inn is the largest tourism business in Wakkerstroom. It is the only business which has accommodation and a restaurant on one premises, which appeals to visitors. As the majority of accommodation establishments in the village are self catering, most visitors visit the hotel at least once (often a few times) during their stay. In the 6 years we have owned the hotel, a few restaurants and pubs have opened which has only served to increase the number of tourists to the village and have therefore directly benefitted our business. We are not aware of any new businesses opening in competition to us.
